  21. What is it?

  23. DisKing is a file manager replacement and a whole lot more.
  24. It allows you to do everything from the keyboard as well as
  25. view files in numerous formats without having to start an
  26. application.  Of course, if you want to start an application,
  27. you can do that too.

  30. Alpha Woes
  31. ----------
  32. This is an Alpha version.  There are bugs.  It is incomplete.
  33.  
  34. If you like it (or even if you don't), please fill out the
  35.     registration form and return it, even if you don't register.
  36.     I just want some feedback.

  39. Installation
  40. ------------
  41. 1. Unpack the archive in the directory of your choice.
  42.  
  43. 2. Create an icon in a Program Manager group for "disking.exe"
  44.    OR start it from the command line ("start disking").

  47. Archive Contents - (contents.txt)
  48. ---------------------------------
  49. The contents.txt file is generated automatically and should
  50. accurately reflect the files which are in this archive.  If
  51. it does not then you should be suspicious of the quality of
  52. this archive.  The length should be correct for the contents.txt
  53. file itself, but the CRC value will be wrong, because it is
  54. generated automatically.

  60. Activate the help file by pressing F1 anywhere in the program.
  61. For keyboard hints press Alt-F1 and this will provide hints
  62.     at the bottom of the screen.

  67. You may freely distribute this archive as a whole, but never in pieces.
  68. All files must be present and I strictly prohibit the distribution
  69. of any single file on its own, especially without the attached
  70. information about how to register DisKing.

  72. is on, but otherwise this arhive is to be distributed for free.
